Title: Associate AI Engineer (Requisition ID: R-100305)

Location: Chennai, India (Remote/Hybrid flexibility indicated)


Eligibility & Compensation


Ideal for fresh graduates or students in final year, particularly from Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.

Estimated salary range: ₹6 LPA – ₹10 LPA.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Support the development of Generative AI agents and AI-enhanced workflows under senior mentorship.
  2. Assist in prompt engineering for Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative systems.
  3. Contribute to vector database integration and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches to improve knowledge retrieval.
  4. Participate in the documentation, testing, and deployment of GenAI applications.
  5. Engage in cross-functional brainstorming and meetings to exchange ideas and learn from experienced teammates.
  6. Aid in the development of internal tools and automation to optimize processes.
  7. Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI through training, seminars, and self-learning.

Required & Preferred Qualifications


Required:


  1. Bachelor’s degree (or current student) in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or similar.
  2. Proficiency in Python; familiarity with JavaScript, Java, or C is a plus.
  3. Basic understanding of GenAI fundamentals: LLMs, RAG, and agent workflows.
  4. Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and version control tools like Git.


Preferred:


  1. Practical experience with AI/GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, vector databases.
  2. Experience with frontend/back-end development.
  3. Extra credit for participation in hackathons, research, or open-source AI/ML projects.
  4. Certifications in cloud or AI technologies are advantageous.
